doors! doors? why doors? first, i like their music! second: yes, i prefer apples to windows! third, and that‘s the reason: windows are nice, you can see a lot, you can open them and get lot of fresh air! but what‘s behind the corner? what‘s behind the next house? windows allow you getting a glance of the world - and that‘s it! through doors you can walk through - you can get into the real world, enjoy life and through doors you can enter houses, safe places... that‘s why i like to picture doors! what‘s behind them? in most of the cases, i‘m outside, and have to guess what secrets are hidden inside. travelling so much i saw that doors look quite the same, from town to town, apparently there a big diiferences only on a global scale. walking through towns, i got aware that this happens on a micro scale as well. so doors are as much monuments of a place as other thing are. just join me on my trip - mentally, geographically, ... ...and let‘s just start outside my home! the doors and gates you will see may not be representative, so if you follow my steps you may need a hawks eye finding some of them. as interesting as doors could be bridges, for example... they allow you reaching far away shores, crossing rivers, lakes and seas! but that‘s a different topic, different theme, coming maybe one day or another to that page!doors_augsburg_milchberg.html
